On Saturday, 25th September, we will be presenting the well known tribute band, Queen II.

Queen II are the Queen tribute that provide a breath taking show at any venue! Performing a huge repertoire of hits from every decade of Queen's musical legacy!  Formally known as ‘A Night At The Opera’

Every show is packed with costume changes! Including that famous outfit from ‘I Want To Break Free’! The show comes with a 5000 Watt P.A. system and a 6000 Watt light show.

All shows feature some of the UK's finest professional musicians using authentic instruments and equipment, including the ‘red special’ guitar and silver sparkle ‘Roger Taylor style’ drum kit!

Tickets £7.00 each (for Members and their guests). Tickets are available from the bar - open Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 19.30 to 23.00 and Sunday from 12.30 to 14.30. Order by Phone: 01225 766994 (answerphone - leave a message, contact name and number and someone will call you back)

Tickets on sale to current members only until 12 August 2010, don't be disappointed, there is a limit on the number of tickets, this event will sell out. After 12th August, tickets will be on general sale @ £11.00 each

Quiz nights

As usual, there will be a quiz night on Thursdays throughout the summer.  The evening commences with the starter round at 8 pm, with the main quiz at 8.30pm.  Bill and Helen Johnson, our resident Quizmasters, present a general knowledge quiz with a music section at half time.
From time to time, they present a themed quiz, for example, Burns Night, Bastille Day etc. together with occasional “Snakes and Ladders” (you have to be there!!).
50p per player secures a place.  Guests need to be signed in.
