PRIORITIES

Welcome to the latest newsletter for Trowbridge Adcroft and Paxcroft Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT). Please see below for the list of priorities we are addressing:

Police Visibility/Reassurance – Paxcroft Mead South
There has been one further report of criminal damage but this does not appear to be part of the initial series of crime. However problems continue with thefts from cars and burglaries. These have tended to result from insecurities and therefore we would like to remind residents to be vigilant in securing their property. Two men were arrested in relation to thefts from cars and investigations continue into the burglaries.

Anti-Social Behaviour - Charlotte Square
A referral was made to the West Wiltshire Anti-Social Behaviour Panel in order to discuss issues in the area of Charlotte Square. As a result the Multi-Agency Partners decided to issue an Anti-Social Behaviour Warning/Environmental Health noise notice to someone living in the area. A warrant was executed and four people were arrested as a result.

TASKING MEETING

The next meeting to discuss the progress made on the current priorities and discuss any potential new priorities in the area will be Monday 10 May at 19:00. Should you wish to attend this tasking meeting, please contact us using the contact details on this page.

If you would like to discuss any local issues with the NPT please come along to one of our drop in sessions either at The Cabin on Seymour Road outside Paxcroft Mead Community Centre.

EVENTS

The young persons disco, Bluez and Zuz is back!  The event is a safe environment for 12–16 year olds to enjoy themselves, supervised by police staff and partner agencies.

It will be held at The Silhouette Club (in the Stone Mill building, between Asda and The Shires shopping centre), Trowbridge, on every 3rd Friday of the month.

 The next is Friday 16th May from 19:00–21:00.
